David Hodgson writes for The Guardian

November 22, 2016

"It’s unhealthy to stay in any job if your head or heart is no longer in it. If this is how you feel, ask yourself if there is something in your life that you could expand..."

David Hodgson, author of popular titles The Buzz and The Little Book of Charisma, has written an article for The Guardian in which he outlines some potential alternative career paths for teachers who may be looking beyond their current job in search of new opportunities.

Click here to read David’s article and here to see his forthcoming title What Else Can a Teacher Do?. David has plenty of advice for teachers in helping to make that career change, and provides case studies of teachers who have already successfully done so. Whether you’re assessing where you are in teaching, actively planning your escape route or just contemplating job alternatives there are plenty of options here.
