More pupils’ work added to Bob Cox’s Opening Doors collection

November 23, 2016

Follow the links to read the pupils' fantastic collection of poetry and prose!

More pupils’ work has been added to the growing collection of written work produced by school children who are following the passages and exercises related to the texts included in Bob Cox‘s Opening Doors books for ages 6-9 and 10-13.

The books put the focus on pupils producing quality writing – developing their literacy skills and a love of reading in the process – and all the evidence gathered on the featured pages seem to indicate that Bob’s strategies and stimulus texts are working!

The collection features written work produced by children, aged between 6 and 13, from various schools who are following the passages and exercises related to the texts included in these books on a dedicated web page on our site where you can view and/or download the works in pdf form and see which unit of the book they came from.

Click here to visit the 10-13 page and here to visit the 6-9 page.

You can also take closer look at the series, and peruse some of the books’ sample pages, by following this link.
