Richard Bustin, author of What are we Teaching? Powerful knowledge and a capabilities curriculum

This is a welcome contribution to educational literature. What sets it apart from many of its peers is its optimism, and as such this is one of those books that I would wrap up and give as a present to those who say they want to become a teacher. The voices of the teachers, and the rich descriptions of their classes makes you feel like you are in the classroom watching them. There is nothing greater than watching brilliant teachers doing their thing, and this book is able to capture that magic and put it under a microscope.
