Product reviews for The Structure of Personality

Terri Bodell
When I read the Foreword of this book I though "oh no' " it is long winded, over "academic and, quite frankly, boring! So I was really not looking forward to reading and reviewing this book.

But then I began reading the actual chapters and found myself wanting to read further. All 4 of the authors present their views in very clear, informative and interesting fashion.

In Part 1 they take you from the very beginnings of NLP and Neuro Semantics and detail how they work at meta levels, the various strategies, techniques and models that can be used. Part 1 is very interesting, involved and in-depth. Even if you use or have a good knowledge of NLP and NS you can learn even more from this book.

Part 2 then breaks it down even further by dedicating 1 chapter each to 12 different "personality disorders" which gives the therapist a very detailed "how-to' manual for a variety of disorders ranging from depression to OCD to addiction.

I really like this book and think it is well worth getting and reading.
