Richard Bolstad is a member of the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists, a Registered General and Psychiatric Nurse, has a California State recognised Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and is a New Zealand Trained Tertiary Teacher. He is an NLP Master Trainer with the IN, a Fellow Member Trainer with IANLP, and an Honorary Fellow with ANLP, where he received the Award for NLP Internationally in 2017. He is the author of RESOLVE: A New Model of Therapy, Transforming Communication, co-author of The Structure of Personality, contributing author in The Clinical Effectiveness of NLP, and author of numerous other books published in over twelve languages. He has specialised in teaching resilience and trauma recovery in the aftermath of war and natural disasters across the globe, and in his BA in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History (Leicester University) he conducted research on the recreation of ancient Cypriot cult experience using processes from NLP.
