Kayte Haselgrove has worked in the Further Education Sector (FES) since 2010, progressing from learning mentor to national literacy lead for the Education and Training Foundation. She now works in initial teacher education, contributing nationally to trainee and professional development in English teaching.
Her current research focuses on subject specialist pedagogy through her PhD and roles in Post-14 teacher training programmes at the University of Derby and the University of Huddersfield. She has presented at major education conferences, is editor of The Use of English, and is co-founder of The FE Literacy Movement.
