The Opening Doors to Quality Writing series wins the 2017 ERA Educational Book Award

March 20, 2017

We are proud to announce that the 2017 Education Resource Awards' Educational Book of the Year award goes to...

The Opening Doors to Quality Writing series by Bob Cox!

Amongst the many other great titles that were up for nomination in the Educational Book Award category (including three other titles/series of our own), Bob Cox’s two-book series won through.

Judges’ Comments: “Described as two gems which provide innovative approaches to exploring quality texts as stimuli for children’s writing. Judges described The Opening Doors to Quality Writing series as an invaluable resource, particularly for non-specialist teachers. Excellent literary choices contained within very attractively produced books.”

For a glimpse of what makes the series so great, you can learn more about the titles – both the 6–9 and 10–13 books – here.

A full list of the evening’s winners can be found here. Congrats to Bob and all of the other winners and nominees on the night!
