A very accessible and interesting read. I liked a lot of the content of the chapters, particularly references to concepts such as CPA, -˜mastery', and practical activities/use of manipulatives. I like the references to mathematical websites and resources.

I'm going to recommend it to my PGCE Secondary Mathematics trainees and to my Secondary Mathematics Subject Knowledge Enhancement students.
