Zoe Enser is a former HMI and was a member of Ofsted’s curriculum unit as the National Lead for Secondary English and Drama. She was a school leader and local authority adviser, as well as the author of numerous books on education (including Bringing Forth the Bard, Generative Learning in Action and The CPD Curriculum) and a regular TES columnist. She has also worked with The Teacher Development Trust, Best Practice Network, The Ambition Institute and the Chartered College of Teaching.

She is now the school improvement lead for a multi-academy trust in the North West of England, which includes mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as alternative provision and specialist settings.

He is a former head of department and research lead as well as author of numerous books on education (including Powerful Geography, Teach Like Nobody’s Watching and The CPD Curriculum) and a regular TES columnist.

He is now a freelance writer, speaker and provider of school support.

Betty Alice Erickson was an international teacher of Ericksonian psychotherapy and hypnosis, and a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist in private practice for over 25 years in Dallas, Texas.

Her published works include the co-authored Hope and Resiliency, as well as chapters contributed to numerous other books, and articles in various professional journals. Recipient of an honorary Ph.D. from the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Education and Science in 2012, she received a number of awards and honours during her career - including the Milton Erickson Gesellschaft (Institute) (MEG) Prize for Excellence in Teaching and Promoting Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in October 2001, and the Premio Internazionale Franaco Granone Award given by the Centro Italiano di Ipnosi Clinico-Sperimentale in October 2003. She was also an honorary member of the Swedish Society for Clinical Hypnosis and of the Milton Erickson Gesellschaft of Germany (MEG).

Roxanna Erickson Klein PhD is a member of the Board of Directors of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation. She is also co-editor of the 17 volume set of Collected Works of Milton H. Erickson.

Jan Evans is an education consultant with over 30 years' experience of working in education. Jan is committed to helping teachers reclaim their creativity and regularly leads whole-school training programmes as well as classroom-based coaching. She prides herself on being able to motivate teachers through her sense of humour, practical approach and enthusiasm for innovative teaching and learning strategies.

Richard Evans is a secondary school teacher with a particular interest in, and passion for, helping pupils who struggle with literacy. A former journalist, he has spent the last decade learning from pupils in lower sets and in nurture and tuition groups. One of the fruits of their joint labour is the passport' ' a tool designed to assist teachers in helping pupils develop their emotional literacy.

Dabney Ewin, MD, FACS, was a clinical professor of surgery and psychiatry at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. An adjunct faculty member and practising physician, Dr Ewin taught hypnosis at Tulane ' and was also a clinical professor of psychiatry at Louisiana State University Medical School, a past president of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the American Board of Medical Hypnosis, a past secretary of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Michael F. Hoyt, PhD (Yale 1976), is a psychologist based in Mill Valley, California. An internationally recognized teacher and supervisor, he has received numerous honours and awards. His publications include Some Stories Are Better than Others, The Present is a Gift, Brief Psychotherapies: Principles and Practices, The Handbook of Constructive Therapies, and Therapist Stories of Inspiration, Passion, and Renewal: What's Love Got to Do with It?.

Ted Falconar applied his lifelong interest in philosophy and human relations to managing companies. Ideas enabling workers to fulfil their potential and to harness their creativity were so successful that Tetley Tea Company, of which he was Managing Director, was turned around so that its productivity more than doubled and a large loss was changed in to spectacular profits. His writing can be seen as being concerned with his lifelong search for purpose and meaning in life.

Gabor Filo, DDS, ABHD graduated in 1984 from the University of Toronto. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hypnosis in Dentistry. His professional career includes private practice, and hospital dentistry, with an emphasis on the nonpharmacological treatment of dental anxiety and phobia. He lectures nationally and internationally on hypnosis and laser dentistry.

Sue Finnie has many years' experience in the fields of education, language learning and publishing. She has written a wide range of educational resources for teaching French; from magazines and books to songs, CD-ROMs, online courses and radio and TV programmes. Key projects include the primary French course Comète and the award-winning KS3 course Équipe.
