The Independent Association Of Prep Schools starts in one week
Thursday, 27 February 2020
We know nurturing wellbeing early in life can make a significant and positive impact on each child™s future. Our role in supporting children™s mental health is invaluable. Professional learning underpins the quality of experience for our pupils and this conference, ˜Roots to Grow and Wings to Fly™, will provide Pre-Prep and Early Years leaders with opportunities to best promote and support mental wellbeing and academic progress, using the indoor and outdoor classroom.

Delegates will hear from inspirational educationalists on the delivery of an excellent education, whereby young children are well-prepared for life™s challenges.

There will be time to network with colleagues and leaders will return to school ready to lead, ensuring the children in their care have the very best start in life, socially, emotionally and academically. Roots will be stronger and the flight path at the end of Year 2 will be ever-more confident.

One day to go until The Ultimate Wellbeing In Scottish Education Conference: Edinburgh
Thursday, 27 February 2020
Wellbeing and mental health are key issues for young people in Scotland and schools are having to dedicate more and more time on them than ever before.

However, many schools are finding that in addressing these skills in PSHE and within the curriculum itself, they are spending much less time resolving problems, experiencing greater engagement and academic results!

Delegates will come away from this conference with advice on how to implement and measure wellbeing, increase student engagement and will return with a host of practical skills and tactics to use in the classroom to improve students™ wellbeing.

You will also hear inspirational and informative keynotes from leading educationalists and psychologists.‹
