The Wolf and the Baby Dragon shortlisted for award

December 08, 2016

The People’s Book Prize's Winter 2016 Children’s Book Award.

The Wolf and the Baby Dragon, one of the titles in Avril McDonald’s Feel Brave series of ‘little stories about big feelings’, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the The People’s Book Prize’s Winter 2016 Children’s Book Award.

Click here to vote for the title and here to take a closer look at the Feel Brave titles on our website.

The five beautifully illustrated story books are all designed to help children explore emotional intelligence, positive psychology and some of the real-life issues which they might face – such as bullying, anxiety, bereavement, friendships and worries – in an engaging, creative and non-threatening way, whilst the Feel Brave Teaching Guide serves as the perfect companion in providing activities and guidance on how to explore these issues in the classroom.
