"The Headteachers™ Roundtable speaks with an authority rooted in our daily collective knowledge and understanding and the unique lived experience of leading our nation™s schools. Our aim is to provide an authentic voice to government to challenge or support ideas which will enable all people in our schools to thrive and flourish. The Summit will focus on what we believe to be the key issues of insufficient funding, excessive accountability, poor retention and limited school autonomy & agency."

œMany people in education are well aware of the policies proposed and supported by Headteachers™ Roundtable. These were encapsulated in the Alternative Green Paper, Schools that Enable All to Thrive and Flourish, launched in November 2016 which was closely followed by the Doorstep Manifesto in May 2017. We aim to challenge and expose the damaging culture created by high stakes, cliff edge accountability; insufficient funding of schools and short-sighted, poorly evidenced policies by political parties. Together we can make a difference.

Who will be invited:

This Conference is held every two years and brings together Junior and Prep schools in membership of GSA, HMC, ISA, IAPS, COBIS and the Society of Heads. Headteachers, Deputy and Assistant Heads, Governors and Bursars of Junior and Prep Schools are invited to attend this event.
